- This warranty applies to all new engine parts marketed by Esco Industries Inc. (ESCO) for Detroit Diesel®, Cummins ®, Navistar® and Caterpillar® engines only. (For other applications other than specified please refer to each respective warranty. (All companies noted above (®) are used for reference only and does not imply that any parts distributed are of their manufacture.) This warranty supercedes all previous warranties implied or written.
Coverage: New ESCO replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workman-ship under normal use and service. The Warranty applies to all Owners in the chain of distribution and will continue to all subsequent Owners until the end of coverage.
ESCO replacement parts are covered for 12 months, 100,000 miles or 4000 hours of operation, whichever comes first from date of installation.
ESCO Responsibility: ESCO will pay for all parts and labor needed to repair the warrantable failure to the functional condition existing immediately prior to the failure, including progressive damage to the engine in which that failed part was installed.
Labor costs will be paid based on actual cost of labor and at no more than published flat rate times. No overtime or holiday rates will be allowed. Only new ESCO parts or ESCO approved parts will be used in the repair. ESCO will pay for the lubricating oil, antifreeze, filter elements, belts, hoses and other maintenance items that are not reusable due to the warrantable failure.
Owner Responsibility: Owner is responsible for the operating and maintenance of the engine as specified in the Operating and Maintenance manuals. Before the expiration date of warranty, the Owner must give notice to ESCO or an authorized ESCO distributor of a failure considered to be warrantable.
It is the Owner’s responsibility to provide failed and associated parts for examination by ESCO in a condition that makes an evaluation possible. Owner is responsible for the cost of all repairs made to items other than the engine in which the parts were installed. Owner is responsible for the costs of lubricating oil, antifreeze, filter elements, belt, hoses, and other maintenance items replaced during warranty repairs, except where such items are not reusable due to a warrantable failure.
Owner is responsible for expenses and all business costs (including down-time) and losses resulting from a warrantable failure. Owner is responsible for lodging, meals, and incidental costs incurred by Owner, or agents of the Owner.
Warranty Limitations: ESCO is not responsible for failures resulting from Owner or operator abuse or neglect, such as: operation without adequate coolant, fuel or lubricants, over-fueling, over-speeding, lack of maintenance of lubricating, coolant or air intake systems, improper storage, starting, warm-up, run-in or shutdown practices. This warranty does not apply to any part that has been altered from its original specification or which has been misused, exposed to weather conditions, negligence or damaged caused by vehicle accidents, or misapplied in any way that in the judgment of ESCO will negatively affect product performance.
ESCO is not responsible for failures resulting from improper repair or installation or the use of parts not approved by ESCO. This warranty will not apply to parts furnished at “no charge” to the Owner.

Coverage: New ESCO® new replacement parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. ESCO® new replacement parts are covered for ONE YEAR from date of purchase. This warranty is limited to Replacement of parts purchased, or a refund of the purchase price. This warranty does not cover Diagnostic or installation labor, neither the progressive damage.
Condition:- 1. ESCO® must be notified by customer before filing a warranty claim.
- 2. All warranty claims must be in writing within 30 days of the origin of the claim and ESCO ® reserves the right to examine every single engine or part subject to a claim under this warranty.
- 3. The customer must show proof of purchase from ESCO® .
- 4. The warranty parts must be shipped back with FREIGHT PREPAID to ESCO® upon our request.
- 1. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any ESCO® part altered from its original specification or which has been misused, exposed to weather conditions, negligence, or damaged by accidents. ESCO® shall not be held liable for consequential damages resulting from the breach of warranty.
- 2. This warranty is provided solely to direct customers of ESCO® and not to any other party. It is the only agreement of obligation of ESCO® . All other warranties expressed or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and /or fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.
